Streetkids

TeamStreetkids is an initiative of the non-profit WeCare4 – a project that is especially focused on helping orphans in Africa by building housing and schools, educating towards a better future and getting streetkids of the streets with sports projects.

TeamStreetkids has been popularly supported in the past by Swiss triathlon pro Ronnie Schildknecht and recent charity events to raise money for TeamStreetkdis include Ironman Switzerland and a Charity Auction involving renowned sports stars such as IM World Champions Chrissie Wellington, Craig Alexander, Norman Stadler, Mirinda Carfrae and Faris Al Sultan as well as many other multiple Ironman winners.

We are always looking for new challenges to prove our dedication and efforts for this project and we are thankful for any kind of support. Through corporate sponsorships, invitations from race organizers to start at their events, verbal advertising from friends, partners and fans, financial donations and more.

We Care 4

The non-profit www.wecare4.ch was founded by Swiss triathlon pro Sven Hungerbühler and his wife Natalie after a personal trip to Africa. Building this non-profit was step we simply had to take after being in Africa ourselves and realizing that a difference needs to be made for the kids.

 

Values:

Despite our mission, which primarily influences our daily actions, we are following the goal to get street kids in Africa off the streets. Further it is our aim to improve the world with tiny steps. One step at a time. Doing so, we are encouraging the kids to ‘learn’ how to help themselves through education. We are financing projects which educate the kids and thus provide them with better perspectives for a better future. It is important to us to make the kids believe in themselves and what they can accomplish in the future.

Qualification:

Our emphasis is on qualified help only. It is not our goal to change or save the world. Our projects are looked at in detail and are analyzed closely on site. We are maintaining a regular contact our projects and the onsite project leaders. Thanks to this direct contact we are able to establish a close relationship between those donating and those receiving the donations which we are more than happy to manifest with our reports and pictures of our projects.

Administration and Dedication:

We are an absolutely and personally dedicated non-profit and therefore work with volunteers only. This allows us to keep administration fees at an absolute minimum and the benefit for the kids at best possible maximum.
